All of our cakes are made from scratch with quality ingredients and love of course! You will receive a cake that is approximately 4 inches high, and it is cut into three layers, with luscious chocolate ganache in between the layers, and around the outside of the cake. This forms a beautiful ganache shell around the cake and seals in the flavour and moisture. This is also the foundation over which the fondant is laid to create a beautifully finished cake, with a smooth finish and sharp edges. The ganache also provides a strong foundation for other finishes like butter cream, or royal icing (which is applied over fondant).
